Potensi Buah Jongi (Dillenia Serrata Thumb) Sebagai Sumber Pangan Fungsional Berbasis Lokal : Kajian Pustaka

The results of a reference study of this plant state that jongi fruit contains citric acid compounds, vitamin C and betacarotene and secondary metabolic compounds namely alkaloid compounds, flavonoids, saponins, polyphenols and triterpenoids so that it has antioxidant activity. Antioxidant activity of jongi fruit makes it a potential source of functional food.
