The Impacts of Heating Temperature to the Thermal Stability, Switching Probability and Magnetization Reversal Mode on the Perpendicular Ferromagnetic Nanodot

In this study, the micromagnetic simulation was conducted using Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation to investigate the magnetization reversal process. The samples were modeled as nanodot with the dimension is 50×50×d nm3 and the thicknesses (d) taken are 10 nm and 100 nm. While the selected parameters of the materials are: magnetic saturation 4800 Gauss, anisotropy constant 3×106 erg/cm3, exchange constant 6.3×10-7 erg/cm, Curie temperature 740 K, Gilbert damping 0.4, and Gyromagnetic ratio 1.76×10-7 Oe-1s-1. To investigate the heating effect, Reduced Barrier Writing and Double Pulses scheme were employed. As a result found that the effective heating level for magnetization reversal is at temperature before reaching the Curie temperature
