In the present work, the aim is to determine seasonal changes in the concentrations of Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Pb, Mn, Ni and Zn in the water of Sapanca Lake and to determine the water quality. Sapanca is one of lakes which can be used as the resource of drinking water in Turkey. In addition, Sapanca Lake is one of the most important drinking water sources for the province of Sakarya and its surroundings. Ten different stations were chosen as sampling points.
