Biodiesel as a fuel has become more preferred due to its environmental benefits and the fact that it is made from renewable resources. Waste coking oil (WCO) is the residue oil generated during food or semi-product preparation by frying and cooking. It is tremendous in the houses and restaurants, so the technical disposal of it becomes necessary. In this study, WCO containing low free fatty acids (FFA) was used as raw material for methyl ester (biodiesel) production. As a result of transesterification, the optimum conditions for methyl ester production can be determined by changing the basic parameters (factors) affecting product yield.
