Landslides are common in the province of West Java, and in 2015, the village of Pasir Jaya, sub-district of West Bogor registered the second most landslides in the city of Bogor. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the community’s knowledge and attitudes towards disaster preparedness in landslides in the area. Through quantitative research methods, data was taken by using questionaires from the entire samples consisting of 125 heads of family. Multiple linear regression test wih α=0,05 was conducted, in which the factors of knowledge and attitude was shown to have influence on the preparedness of household in facing the disaster of landslides at 58.5%.
