THE COMPANIONS KNOWN WITH THEIR SIRAH AND MAGHAZI NARRATIONS -Specifically Take Place in the Chapter of Kitab-ul Maghazi of Sakhih al Bukhari-

WOS: 000415831700014As the hadiths were started to be written, the information on Sirah and Maghazi was also started to be compiled. For this reason, the pioneers of Sirah and Maghazi are the early traditionists. This tradition which started with the Companions was represented until Kutub-i Sittah era (The Six Books) by Urva bin Zubair (died in 91/709 or 95/713), Asim bin Umar bin Katada (d. 120/737), Ibn-i Shihab az-Zuhri (d. 124/741), Abu Ishak as Sabii (d. 127/745), Mosa bin Ukba (d. 141/758), Abu'l Mutamir Sulayman bin Tahran at Taymi (d. 143/760), Ibn-i Ishak (d. 151/768) and Khalifa bin Hayyat (d. 240/854) who were known as historians and founders of Recordings of History of Islam. These people are also trusted by Abu Abdillah Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ibrahim bin Al-Mughira al-Bukhari on their narrations in related topics and they were the most important ones that referred to in his work. In this study, the narrators of Tabiun and Taba-i Tabiun named above who reached The Prophet by means of the Companions famous for Sirah and Maghazi narrations such as Aisha (d. 58/678), Ibn-i Abbas (68/687-88), Bara bin Azib (71/690), Zaid bin Arkam (d. 68/688) and Sulayman bin Surad (d. 65/685) and their narrations have been specifically taken place in the Chapter of Kitab-ul Maghazi of Sakhih al Bukhari. Thus, it has been tried to identify the pioneeer/source companions of Sirah and Maghazi and their sensitivity on the health of these narrations of Bukhari
