Las resignificaciones del Nunca Más. Releyendo la violencia política en Argentina

Abstract This article analyzes the uses and resignifications of the Nunca Más report since the 1990s. This report, published in Argentina in 1984, was drawn up by the National Commission on the Disappearance of Persons (CONADEP), created in 1983 by President Raúl Alfonsín to investigate the disappearances caused by political repression. Since 1995, various actors in civil society and a new way of running the state led to various re­editions of this report which also introduced a series of changes into the interpretation of violent past postulated by the original text. Given the canonical nature of Nunca Más in Argentina for narrating and interpreting these events, the analysis of these interventions will explain the changes and continuities that have taken place in the interpretation of this period that affected the entire country.Resumen Este artículo analiza los usos y resignificaciones del informe Nunca Más desde la década del noventa hasta la actualidad. Este inforrne, publicado en Argentina en 1984, fue elaborado par la Comisión Nacional sobre la Desaparición de Personas (CONADEP), creada en 1983 por el presidente constitucional Raúl Alfonsín para investigar las desapariciones causadas par la represión política. Desde 1995, diversos actores de la sociedad civil y una nueva conducción del Estado impulsaron varias reediciones de este informe que introdujeron a la vez una serie de cambios en la lectura del pasado de violencia política que postulaba el texto original. Dado el carácter canónico que reviste el Nunca Más en Argentina para narrar e inrerpretar estos hechos, el análisis de estas intervenciones permitirá comprender los cambios y continuidades operados en la propia interpretación de este periodo que atravesó el país
