El estado de las fronteras de la República Popular China en el actual contexto de la nueva Ruta de la Seda

The text will describe in a comprehensive way the different territorial disputes and litigations of the People’s Republic of China (PRCh) in its borders. It has thought to be done through the perspective of the Chinese nationalism, searching the fundament and the plot of its pretensions, the possible interests behind the territories, also the historic origin of these disputes, its current state and the future of the disputes. It will be paid attention to the oriental maritime borders, focus on the Southern Chinese Sea with the Spratly and Paracelso archipelago and the Oriental Chinese Sea, with the Senkaku islands. In addition, it will be analyzed the occidental Chinese frontiers, the inside boundary, where the Xinjiang and Tibet regions are located, and the relationships with the countries of Central and Southern Asia, specially Russia and India. After the revision of these conflicts, we conclude that the Chinese nationalism takes like spatial reference the patrimonial territory of the old Qing dynasty, causing a problem among the most populous ethnicity of China, the ‘han’, and the rest of nationalities of the country. This spatial reference cause another problem with the bordering countries. All of them, in the middle of the Chinese expansionism and realization of his dream, do the borders of China one of the geopolitical area tensest in the actual world.En este documento se abordará el análisis de forma integral de los diversos litigios y disputas territoriales mantenidos por la República Popular China (RPCh) en sus fronteras. Se tomará como perspectiva el nacionalismo chino, buscando el fundamento y argumentación de sus pretensiones, los posibles intereses que hay detrás, así como el origen histórico de tales disputas, su estado actual y qué podrán deparar. Se verán las fronteras orientales marítimas concentrándonos en el mar Meridional con las islas Spratly y Paracelso y el mar Oriental de China con el archipiélago de Senkaku. Asimismo, se analizarán las fronteras occidentales chinas, las interiores, donde se encuentran las regiones exteriores de Xinjiang y Tíbet, y las relaciones con los países de Asia Central y Meridional, destacando Rusia e India. Tras la revisión de tales conflictos, puede decirse que el nacionalismo chino toma como referencia espacial el territorio patrimonial de la antigua dinastía Qing, acarreando problemas entre la mayoría étnica que copa el poder en la RPCh, los han, y el resto de nacionalidades del país y también con el resto de Estados circundantes, lo cual lleva a que, en medio del expansionismo chino y de la realización de su sueño, las fronteras de China sean de los espacios geopolíticos más tensos en el mundo actual
