The main objective of this study was to investigate the relationship of job stress with turnover intention by assesing the mediating role of burnout in the furniture industries sector in Citra Furniture manufacturing industries located in Surakarta, Central Java. A total 60 questionnaires were distributed and 45 were returned. Firstly, the finding showed there was positive relationship of job stress and turnover intention. Secondly, the relationship of job stress and job burnout was tested.
