In this chapter we apply the ancillary benefit approach to the assessment of stakeholders’ attitudes towards e-mobility. The attitudes of stakeholders depend on a lot of different factors and the list of factors differs between the stakeholders. Hence, for an appropriate assessment of decarbonization of the transport sector it is necessary to consider a broad range of factors including the weighting or relevant factors by actors. Using a multi-criteria approach we show that stakeholders, like car users and vehicle manufacturers, will show resistance if they are urged to go for e-mobility.
