ABSTRACT Malang has the potential for herpetofauna diversity because of its strategic area. One of the unexplored areas in Malang is Ledok Amprong. This study aims to analyze the potential diversity of herpetofauna in Ledok Amprong. Data collection was carried out from October 2017 to March 2018 at night 5x sampling. The retrieval method is the Virtual Encounter Survey by dividing the location into 3 zones based on habitat type. The collected specimens were identified with the help of the Javanese Bali Amphibious book by Djoko T. Iskandar and the book Reptiles of South-East Asia by Indraneil Das.
