Der Sonnenschatten der kosmischen Strahlung (KS), die Verringerung des Flusses der KS aus Richtung der Sonne, sowie seine zeitliche Variation haben sich als hilfreich für die Untersuchung des Sonnenmagnetfeldes erwiesen. In dieser Arbeit wird die zeitliche Variation des Sonnenschattens zwischen 2010 und 2017 basierend auf Daten des IceCube Neutrino Observatoriums untersucht und mit Vorhersagen von Modellen des Sonnenmagnetfeldes verglichen. Zudem wird erstmals die Energieabhängigkeit des Sonnenschattens in IceCube untersucht. Basierend auf den Daten lässt sich eine rein geometrische Abschattung der KS durch die Sonne ausschließen.
