BACKGROUND: Diabetes and malignancy are two chronic diseases that have a major impact on the healthy population in developing countries, both contribute to the increase of morbidity and mortality of the patients. Diabetes presented with hyperglycemia due to insufficiency or resistance of insulin has been associated with an increased risk of thrombosis.
