In this work, a new methodology is presented for the semi-quantitative evaluation of the coastal geotouristic potential and protection requirements of ten sites chosen in the coastline of the State of Paraíba, about 54 km from the state capital. The geotouristic potential was determined based on two indicators, whose value was estimated: the Touristic Use Potential, with ten variables, with different levels of importance, and the Additional Value, with six variables, also with different levels of importance.
