[EN] This article talks about the alarm sequences of an industrial process and how they can be used to detect and diagnose faults. This paper stems from Alarm Management, a subject that seeks to reduce the number of alarms displayed to operators, contributing to appropriate detection and fault diagnosis. Shows some searching techniques whose application is displayed later in a data set associated with an actual failure of a fluidized catalytic cracking process, to find the sequence of alarms associated with fault in question. It shows a methodology to find such sequences of alarms.
