Koordinasi Antar Instansi dalam Revitalisasi Alun-Alun di Kabupaten Gresik

Coordination between agencies is one form of modernization of public service delivery in the era of bureaucratic reform. Joined-Up Government becomes the reference for the implementation of coordination integrated public service delivery. Through this coordination it is expected to be able to realize acceleration, efficiency and effectiveness, and productivity in harmonious development programs, one of which is related to the problem of providing and utilizing urban public space. This study uses a qualitative method that seeks to dig up information through the interview process, written data through observation in documents, and the state of objects in the field through the process of observation in order to obtain objective data. The results showed that the implementation of coordination between Regional Apparatus Organizations in the revitalization of public squares in Gresik Regency was not yet optimal. There are many obstacles in the coordination process related to differences in perceptions among stakeholders that lead to sectoral egos, low commitment from each stakeholder, lack of funding that impedes program acceleration, low supervision so that implementation of coordination is not optimal. The implementation of coordination activities is evidenced by the composition of the activities of providing and utilizing the public square space in Gresik Regency. In addition, various kinds of agendas related to the results of horizontal coordination between the Regional Apparatus Organizations in the revitalization of public squares in Gresik Regency have also been successfully implemented
