PERENCANAAN PONDASI RAKIT SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF PONDASI PADA GEDUNG FAKULTAS ILMU KEOLAHRAGAAN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MALANG

This is a case on the raft foundation planning for the building of Faculty Sports Science State University of Malang which was switched from existing bor pile to raft foundation. Foundation must be designed to accommodate the bearing capacity and settlement that might occur to avoid any exceeding of control permit. The bearing capacity and foundation settlement are based on Bor Log and SPT data (Standard Penetration Test). The analysis was initialized with the upper structure by considering the combination of dead load, live load, and earthquake load based on the prevailing SNI. The output of STAADPRO v8i application analysis showed the total force on the ground floor was due to the vertical load of 147778 kN. The permitted bearing capacity of raft foundation with 1.10 m width and 2160 m2 of surface area using Mayerhof analysis was 188.29 kN/m2 (SF=3). Therefore, the maximum load of raft foundation is 406706.4 kN > 147778 kN which means the foundation met the safety control requirement towards the bearing capacity. The immediate of settlement on the raft foundation obtained the value of 8.90 cm > 20 cm (permitted settlement) that fulfilled the permit settlement control for highrise building based on Geotechnical RSNI (2017:178). The raft foundation construction was planned to use 30 Mpa concrete quality and 400 Mpa steel quality with reinforcement for longitudinal and transverse direction at the top and bottom was planned to use D25-125
