STRATEGI PEMANFAATAN RADIO STREAMING SEBAGAI SARANA PENYEBARAN INFORMASI (Studi Pada Radio Kalimaya Bhaskara FM 102.1 Kota Malang)

Radio Kalimaya Bhaskara FM is a broadcast media in the city of Malang. The reason why writer choosing the media as the object of research is because Radio Kalimaya Bhaskara is the oldest radio station in Malang, which has been operating since 1968, and this radio station is incorporated in the national big media, Kompas Gramedia. The goal from this research is to find out how Radio Kalimaya Bhaskara's strategy in spreading information through streaming radio services. This research uses a qualitative method with descriptive type. Data collection techniques obtained through the process of interviews, observation, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the highest leaders of Radio Kalimaya Bhaskara, observations in the form of monitoring broadcasting and non-broadcasting activities, and documentation in the form of broadcast material, listener data, and audience comments scattered on social media. This study uses data analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and then complete the conclusions. The results of this study shows that Radio Kalimaya Bhaskara has a unique strategy in spreading information through radio streaming. This strategy is in the form of the value of locality in the broadcast of Radio Kalimaya Bhaskara. By presenting locality content through radio streaming, it is able to bring up new habits for radio listeners, which is radio listeners consume local content through digital-based radio media
