REPRESENTASI PERJUANGAN POLITIK TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL NEGERI DI UJUNG TANDUK KARYA TERELIYEZ PENDEKATAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA

Political struggle is an action carried out to achieve certain goals in politics. Literary work is one of the media used to describe the behavior of political struggles, including the novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye. Based on the above, the formulation of the problem in this study, namely (1) how the objectives of the main character's political struggle in the novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye, (2) what are the factors underlying the political struggle of the main characters in the novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye, (3) how the impact of the political struggle of the main character in the novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye. This study uses a sociological approach to literature. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source used for the study is the 360-page novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye, published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama Publisher, seventeenth February 2019 print. The data found in this research is in the form of a dialogue quotation in the form of dialogue that has relevance to political struggle. Data collection techniques used in this study is reading and observation techniques. The data found is processed through identifying, coding, selecting data, and entering the collected data into an indicator table and data filter specified in the novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye From the results of the analysis and discussion, it is concluded that in the novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye, the main political struggles of the main characters are found, namely (1) enforcing the law, (2) revealing the legal mafia network by supporting the ideals of political clients, cooperates with key witnesses in legal cases and the KPK to uncover and imprison people who are members of the legal mafia network. In addition, the factors underlying the political struggle of the main characters, namely (1) the best prospective leaders, (2) political maneuvers, (3) personal. The positive impact on society and the state, namely (1) creation of legal justice. The discussion in this study has a correlation with life today that is related to problems in the political world related to the law game
