UPAYA BADAN NARKOTIKA KABUPATEN (BNK) DALAM MENYIKAPI DARURAT NARKOBA DI KABUPATEN PAMEKASAN

Drug use in Pamekasan Regency is a social problem that continues to increase every year (2017-2019). The role of the Pamekasan Regency Narcotics Agency (BNK) is needed to reduce the number of drug users in Pamekasan Regency. But the existence of the Narcotics Agency Pamekasan Regency has not been able to suppress the number of drug users in Pamekasan Regency. In 2017 there were 47 cases and 59 suspects, while for 2018 from January to November there were 64 cases and 92 suspects and in 2019 there were 123 suspects and 80 more cases. This shows that Pamekasan District has had an emergency drug problem in the last three years. This research aims to describe BNK's efforts in responding to drug emergencies and the obstacles they face. This research is qualitative with descriptive research type. Determination of research subjects using purposive techniques. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with interactive models. The results and discussion show that (1) BNK Pamekasan's efforts in responding to the drug emergency are (a) by conducting a drug prevention and enforcement program, (b) coorperation network with other institutions such as the police, police, municipal police, educational institutions, and (c) forming cadres in drug prevention. (2) As for the obstacles of Pamekasan National Narcotics Agency in preventing drugs, namely (a) not having complete facilities (b) lack of human resources in the Narcotics Agency of Pamekasan Regency
