The objective of the research was to find out significant differences in speaking achievement between students who were taught through Traditional Educational Games, Modern Educational Games, and those who were not. This research is quasi-experimental research. The subjects consisted of two groups of students as the experimental groups and one group as the control group. The population was grade eight students of SMP N 1 Minggir, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The sample was three classes that were selected by applying the cluster random sampling technique. The sample obtained was the students of Classes VIII A,VIII B, and VIII C. Class VIII A was taught using the Traditional Games, Class VIII B was taught using Modern Games, and Class VIIIC was taug...
