A newly devised folk play adapted from the ballad A Gest of Robyn Hode (anon., pub. 1510). Additional Doctor part adapted from Bampton Mummer’s Christmas Play, Oxfordshire (1847) and Inglesham Mummer’s Christmas Play, Wiltshire (1840-50) both based on the ballad Robin Hood and the Tanner.
