Falls and related injuries in the older population are major public health issues requiring more innovative and effective solutions. This paper reports a collaborative evaluation of the first cohorts of newly developed the ‘Dance to Health’ (DtH) programme which integrates evidence-based physiotherapy falls-prevention exercises (FaME [Falls Management Exercise] and Otago programmes) into a creative dance programme. The aim of this study was to draw conclusions about the effect of the programme on health and social outcomes and changes in dance interest.
