Son yıllarda literatürde, Co bazlı şekil hatırlamalı alaşımlar üzerinde çalışmalar son derece dikkat çekmektedir. Bu alaşımlar arasında CoNi, CoNiGa ve CoNiAl ısıl işlemlerle martensit fazına geçerler ve eğitilerek şekil hatırlama özelliği kazandırılabilmektedirler.
