Not AvailableAn experiment was conducted under irrigated condition in Vertisol to study the effect of INM on soil health in maize. After six years the study revealed that soil physical properties like, bulk density (Mg/m3), maximum water holding capacity (%), percent stable aggregates (%) and mean weight diameter (mm) were improved in the treatments receiving organics in conjunction with inorganic fertilizers as compared to only inorganic fertilizer (RDF only). The soil bulk density was decreased from 1.36 Mg/m3 (recommended fertilizer dose treatment) to 1.29 Mg/m3 with the treatment 50% RDF+Maize stalk incorporation with cellulolytic culture+biofertilizer+green manure. Maximum water holding capacity of the soils increased with 50% RDF+Maiz...
