Evaluación docente para la mejora continua en la Unidad Educativa Catorce de Julio J.A.E. en Latacunga.

This project is exploratory and descriptive research since the current situation of teacher evaluation was investigated in different circumstances, both institutionally and socially, taking into account the advantages and disadvantages of the evaluation. The primary objective was to describe the current situation of the teachers' evaluation in the Education Unit Catorce de Julio Juan Abel Echeverría "J.A.E." Books, magazines, and websites were examined for the theoretical support of the research, which helped in the establishment of the definitions and concepts of teacher evaluation, as well as a field investigation was carried out when applying the research techniques for the data collection. The survey technique was applied to its respective questionnaire that helped to constitute a clear and realEl presente proyecto es de carácter investigación exploratoria y descriptiva, puesto que se investigó la situación actual de la evaluación docente en diferentes circunstancias, tanto en forma institucional como social, tomando en cuenta las ventajas, desventajas de la evaluación. Y sobre todo el objetivo primordial fue describir la situación actual de la evaluación de los docentes en la Unidad Educativa Catorce de Julio Juan Abel Echeverría “J.A.E”. En el desarrollo del proyecto se examinaron libros, revista, y sitios web para la sustentación teórica del trabajo investigativo, lo que ayudó en el establecimiento de las definiciones y conceptos sobre la evaluación docente, así como también se realizó una investigación de campo al aplicar las técnicas de investigación para la recolección de información. Se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta con su respectivo cuestionario que ayudaron a constituir un panorama claro y verídico del proceso evaluativo. Con la cual se estableció un análisis minucioso. La encuesta se aplicó tanto a estudiantes como a docentes y a directivos, con el fin de determinar el grado de dificultades de la evaluación y saber el criterio de cada uno de los profesores frente a la evaluación del desarrollo profesional. Al finalizar el presente trabajo de investigación se determinó la situación actual de la problemática existente en el proceso evaluativo. Se determinó que la evaluación docente, es un tema altamente conflictivo, puesto que no todos están de acuerdo con este proceso, muchos docentes afirman que esta no está ajustada a la realidad del Magisterio. Además, se determinó que algunos maestros desconocían esta temática, y mencionaban estar de acuerdo con la evaluación, pero que el Ministerio de Educación debería capacitar antes de evaluar. Otra situación es que los docentes recién incorporados, empiezan a desempeñarse en instituciones particulares, lo cual no permiteview of the evaluation process which established a meticulous analysis. Also, it was determined that some teachers were unaware of this theme, and mentioned that they agreed with the evaluation, but the Ministry of Education should train them before evaluating. Another situation is that newly incorporated teachers begin to work in private institutions, which does not allow teachers to become accustomed to the evaluation of professional performance
