El refuerzo académico en educación básica superior en el área de matemática

The present investigation is directed to be a diagnosis of the problematic observed in the Leopoldo N. Chávez Educational Unit of the community center of the Guangaje parish Pujilí Canton, Cotopaxi Province. Under this perspective, it has been proposed to investigate the effects of Academic Reinforcement in the area of Math. Treating it as an educational problem which affects to the students of this institution has seen the feasibility of doing so, the research is based on a general objective and three specific ones that guided the progress of the process. In the same way we inquire scientific information in sources wich give veracity from this perspective. Data and information of the students and the responsible teacher have been collected, using research instruments such as the survey and the interview, which has provided first-hand information and from the place of events and with the actors of the educational process. The information collected has been processed according to methods such as statistics and analysis has also allowed us to sustain the problem and confront the reality of the institution. The data are analyzed and we have given our interpretation of each of the questions, as well as the criteria issued by the teacher who teaches the Math Area. All the work carried out allowed us to issue conclusions and recommendations that will serve as a basis for future research. Also a point to highlight are the impacts that this may have in the fields such as social, educational and pedagogical, which we are sure will serve to better visualize the educational aspect especially in relation to the Academic Reinforcement in the different areas its effects on the teaching-learning process and school performance of young students.La presente investigación esta direccionado para ser un diagnóstico, de la problemática observada en la Unidad Educativa Leopoldo N. Chávez, de la comunidad centro de la parroquia Guangaje del Cantón Pujilí, Provincia de Cotopaxi. Bajo esta perspectiva se ha planteado investigar los efectos del Refuerzo Académico en el área de Matemática. Tratándola como un problema educativo y que afecta a los estudiantes de la Institución se ha visto la factibilidad de realizarlo, la investigación está basada en un objetivo general y tres específicos que guiaron el avance del proceso. De igual manera se indagó información científica en fuentes que otorguen veracidad desde esta perspectiva se ha recopilado datos e información de los estudiantes y del docente responsable, utilizando instrumentos de investigación como son la encuesta y la entrevista, que ha proporcionado información de primera mano y desde el lugar de los acontecimientos y con los actores del proceso educativo. La información recabada la hemos procesado de acuerdo a los métodos como son la estadística y el análisis también nos ha permitido sustentar el problema y confrontar con la realidad de la Institución. Los datos los analizamos y hemos dado nuestra interpretación de cada una de las interrogantes, como también de los criterios emitidos por el docente que imparte el área de Matemática. Todo el trabajo realizado nos permitió emitir conclusiones y recomendaciones que servirán como una base para futuras investigaciones. También un punto a resaltar son los impactos que esta pueda tener en los campos tales como lo social, la educación y lo pedagógico, que estamos seguros servirán para visualizar de mejor manera el aspecto educativo en especial a lo referente al Refuerzo Académico en las diferentes áreas sus efectos en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje y el rendimiento escolar de los jóvenes estudiantes.Universidad Técnica de Cotopax
