Los desastres naturales y sus efectos emocionales en los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Vicente León

The purpose of this research project was focused on the natural disasters and their emotional effects on the students of the Vicente León Educational Unit. The objective of this research was to review the definitions, fundamental concepts and basic characteristics of natural phenomena and their incidence on an emotional level, we also analyze the risk factors of disasters, the effects on mental health in students And in turn the main preventive strategies depending on the different phases of the disaster cycle with are before, during and after. For that, the methodology used was the formative research, in which the study population was 100 students, 50 teachers and administrative, the method used was descriptive, the technique to obtain information was the survey and the interview. As a result, 46% of students may suffer emotional problems in the event of a natural disaster. In addition, if a natural disaster occurs and a student product is affected, the institution must support it psychologically until Return to your state of equilibrium. Trainings, lectures and simulations of teachers and students should be fundamental about natural disasters, whether in volcanic eruptions, earthquakes or floods, in order to reduce risks to students in any event….El propósito de este proyecto investigativo fue enfocado en los desastres naturales y sus efectos emocionales en los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Vicente León. El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue revisar las definiciones, los conceptos fundamentales y las características básicas de los fenómenos naturales y su incidencia a nivel emocional, se analizan también los factores de riesgo de los desastres, los efectos sobre la salud mental en los estudiantes y a su vez las principales estrategias preventivas en función de las diferentes fases del ciclo de un desastre con son antes, durante y después. Para lo cual se utilizó como metodología la investigación formativa, en el cual la población objeto de estudio fueron 100 estudiantes, 50 docentes y administrativos, el método que se utilizó fue el descriptivo, la técnica para obtener información fue la encuesta y la entrevista. Como resultados obtenidos fue que el 46% de los estudiantes pueden padecer problemas emocionales en caso de un desastre natural, además que en el caso de que existiese algún desastre natural y producto de éste se ve afectado algún estudiante, la institución debe apoyarlo psicológicamente hasta que vuelva a su estado de equilibrio…
