Aplicación de bloques nutricionales a partir de tres concentraciones de desechos vegetales (bagazo de la caña de azúcar, rastrojo de maíz y paja de fríjol) a tres concentraciones de melaza, sales minerales y cal para la crianza de cobayos (Cavia porcellus) en el cantón Sigchos provincia de Cotopaxi en el período 2012-2013

The following investigation was done in Yalò neighborhood from Sigchos city, province of Cotopaxi, it had as its main objective the elaboration and application of nutritional blocks from vegetable waste (bagasse from sugar cane, corn hay and straw bean) in the feeding of guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus) in order to evaluate the weight obtained of the guinea pigs, proximate analysis, economic analysis and lifetime of the nutritional blocks. For this, 150 good genetic male guinea pigs were used; those were divided into three experimental replicates of 5 units. In the investigation, the following methods and techniques were applied: inductive-deductive and analytical method. Finally, the types of researching were: exploratory, descriptive, experimental and direct observation. The time of the experiment was 90 consecutive days, by the design of blocks completely randomized. (DBCA) with a factorial arrangement 3x3 + 1, getting the three top treatments based on weight obtained through the application of Tukey test to the 5%, obtaining the following results (a3b3) was more increased (0,9067kg) followed by (a2b1) with (0.8567 kg) and finally (a3b2) with (0,8267kg) relative to the witness who reached a final weight of (0,7967kg), the lifetime of the product was determined by the method of survival of 12 months, making the economic analysis, it was determined the value of $0,41 per kg compared to the commercial balanced Avimentos $ 0.64 kg....La presente investigación se realizó en el barrio Yalò del Cantón Sigchos provincia de Cotopaxi, tuvo como objetivo principal la elaboración y aplicación de bloques nutricionales a partir de desechos vegetales (bagazo de la caña de azúcar, rastrojo de maíz y paja de fríjol) en la alimentación de cobayos (Cavia porcellus) con la finalidad de evaluar la ganancia de peso de los cobayos, análisis proximal, análisis económico y vida útil de los bloques nutricionales.
