ANALISIS TINGKAT VOLUME OKSIGEN MAKSIMAL TENIS LAPANGAN PELTI KOTA MALANG

Abstract The aim of this research is to determine the value of V̇O2 max which owned by the tennis athlete PELTI of Malang City. In addition, the high and low value of V̇O2 max assuredly depends on the variable of age and gender. This study used a descriptive quantitative research methodology utilizing a survey approoch. The results of the multistage fitness tests that the use of 15 athletes was that there are 1 athletes (7%) whose level of maximum oxygen capacity (V̇O2 max) was in the superior category , 4 athletes (27%) whose level of maximum oxygen capacity (V̇O2 max) was in the very good category, 7 athletes (46%) whose level of maximum oxygen capacity (V̇O2 max) was in the medium category, 2 athletes (13%) whose level of maximum oxygen capacity (V̇O2 max) was in the poor category, and 1 athletes (7%) whose level of maximum oxygen capacity (V̇O2 max) was in the very poor category.Key Word: Maximum Oxygen Capacity (V̇O2 Max), Tennis Athletes PELTI of Malang City.Abstrak Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai V̇O2 maks yang dimiliki oleh atlet tenis PELTI Kota Malang. Selain itu, tinggi rendahnya V̇O2 maks tergantung pada variabel usia dan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan survei. Hasil Hasil tes lari multitahap (Multistage Fitness Test) yang menggunakan 15 atlet sebagai sampel menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 1 atlet (7%) tingkat kapasitas oksigen maksimal (V̇O2 maks) dengan kategori superior, 4 atlet (27%) tingkat kapasitas oksigen maksimal (V̇O2 maks) dengan kategori baik sekali, 7 atlet (46%) tingkat kapasitas oksigen maksimal (V̇O2 maks) dengan kategori cukup, 2 atlet (13%) tingkat kapasitas oksigen maksimal (V̇O2 maks) dengan kategori buruk, dan 1 atlet (7%) tingkat kapasitas oksigen maksimal (V̇O2 maks) dengan kategori sangat buruk.Kata Kunci: Kapasitas Oksigen Maksimal (V̇O2 Maks), Atlet Tenis PELTI Kota Malang.
