Railroad through the Slavia jungle: Then and Now, 2015

When land agents and prospective investors in the purchase of land by the Slavia Colony Co. posed for a 1911 photo (looking southward, toward Winter Park) on the railroad tracks near the current intersection of SR 426, they could not have envisioned a time...a century later... when those tracks would be replaced by a paved hiking-biking trail, running parallel to a busy four-lane divided highway.
