This article describes the distribution of vowel quality in unmotivated *-ęt stems in Polish dialects. The results of the analysis are compared to the reflexes of the Proto-Slavic accentual paradigms in other Slavic languages, in particular the other West Slavic languages, where the correspondences are remarkably consistent.Prispevek opisuje razporeditev samoglasniške kvalitete nemotiviranih *-ęt-osnov v poljskih narečjih.
