Two antiphonals from the Charthusian monastery in Žiče: Manuscripts 273 and 7 from the Graz University Library / Dva antifonala iz žičke kartuzije: rokopisa 273 in 7 iz Univerzitetne knjižnice v Gradcu

The Carthusian monastery in Žiče (Ger. Seitz) played a central role in the history of the Carthusian Order during the turbulent period of the Great Schism, which might have also influenced its musical life. A comparison of the texts, melodies, and note groupings in two Žiče antiphonals from the 13th and 15th centuries, as well as some other facts about music in the other Carthusian monasteries of that time, can offer at least a vague picture of the musical life at the Žiče monastery in the fiftheenth century.Kartuzija Žiče je v času velikega zahodnega razkola postala sedež kartuzijanskega reda za vse Rimu zveste kartuzije. To viharno obdobje je morda vplivalo tudi na glasbeno življenje samostana. Razprava skuša s primerjavo besedil, melodij in notnih skupin iz dveh žičkih antifonalov (iz 13. oz. 15. stoletja) ter z upoštevanjem nekaterih drugih podatkov o glasbi v drugih kartuzijah tega časa podati vsaj okvirno podobo glasbenega življenja žičke kartuzije v 15. stoletju
