OBJECTIVE: To study the effects of respiratory muscle stretch to improve the exercise capacity in patients with post coronary artery bypass grafting. DESIGN: Pre and post test experimental study design. SETTING: Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, KMCH, Coimbatore. PARTICIPANTS: 40 subjects with post coronary artery bypass grafting surgery and divided into two groups, group A and group B each consists of 20 patients. INTERVENTION: Group A received respiratory muscle stretch along with conventional physiotherapy and group B received conventional physiotherapy alone.
