The present article shows how the bio-chemistry course develops from the model of formation of the Superior Education Institute, which is based on pedagogic, educational/didactic and evaluative principles. This course is aimed at the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and requires that the students work in an autonomous and independent way, but that it give with his classmates the report of the work done in the resolution of the problem. The course adjusts to the competences programmed for itself that are related with the chores and the students, so the teacher keeps track of the students in different contexts.
