Práticas de educação ambiental na área de ciências e biologia

This research is an investigation of the practice of Environmental Education (EA) as a transversal potential in the construction of knowledge and development of sustainability. For this purpose the objective was to observe the main activities in EA in a magazine ‘Revista de Ensino de Biologia (REnBio)’. The qualitative work is based on a literature review in the REnBio, 7th and 9th editions, from 2014 end 2016. Therefore, the EA needs contemplate the educational process in the knowledge building by searching solution to the environmental issues. This require the increasing of the use of questionings, fieldwork, design, workshop among others, since the practices of EA need to go beyond the wall of the institutions and being inserted since the initial grades until higher education, since the school community is a right place to work frequently and continuing with this theme.Esta pesquisa consistiu em investigar a prática da Educação Ambiental (EA), como potencializadora transversal na construção do conhecimento e desenvolvimento da sustentabilidade. Para tanto, nosso objetivo consistiu em observar as principais atividades de EA na Revista de Ensino de Biologia (REnBio). O trabalho de cunho qualitativo baseou-se em uma revisão bibliográfica na REnBio, edições 7ª e 9ª, entre 2014 e 2016. Portanto, a EA precisa contemplar o processo educativo na construção do conhecimento em busca de soluções para as questões ambientais. O que requer ampliarmos o uso de questionamentos, saída de campo, desenho, oficina entre outros, pois as práticas de EA precisam ultrapassar os muros das instituições e serem inseridas desde os anos iniciais ao ensino superior, já que a comunidade escolar é um ambiente propício para trabalhar com a temática com frequência contínua
