Monitoring environment changes has become a necessity as a result of current environment deteriorating due to natural and human activities. Acquiring information concerning the spatial and dynamic changes for a rapit vegetation monitoring is not easy. Therefore the present study provides monitoring of the spatial vegetation changes using geospatial technologies such as Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information System (GIS). In order to monitor and evaluate the spatial vegetation change, the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) technique will be employed.
