Tuberculosis is an infectious disease whose causative agent is Mycobacterium tuberculosis, it can install in any organ, however, the lung is the site most chosen by this agent. The disease health process has close relationship with socioeconomic and cultural determinants, for this reason the disease is being considered by the Ministry of Health as a public health problem. The objective of this study is to analyze the scientific production about tuberculosis in Brazil and to identify how the health professionals act in relation to preventive and promotional actions for the control and monitoring of Tuberculosis.
