Introduction: the CTM brace is one of the most frequently used brace to treat idiopathic scoliosis. The correction it induces in the three planes of space has never been studied so far. The aim of our study was to analyse the 3 D correction induced by the CTM brace in patients suffuring from idiopathic scoliosis. Methods: the 3 dimensional spinal reconstruction of 23 patients followed for idiopathic scoliosis has been studied before and after a treatment by CTM brace. The mean variation and the correction before and in the brace have been analyzed for Cobb’s angle, lordosis, kyphosis and the vertebrae apex rotation.
