U radu su navedena i obrađena postojeća pravila i načini izrade višeslojnih valovitih namota s profilnom žicom s obzirom na broj utora, polova, paralelnih grana i broj vodiča u utoru, a sve je objašnjeno na primjerima patentiranih namota. Predložen je novi skup pravila za izradu namota za primjenu u električnim strojevima s unutarnjim permanentnim magnetima i pokazano je zašto je taj skup pravila ispravan. Na primjeru električnog stroja električnog automobila Nissan Leaf pomoću simulacija analizirani su gubici u hairpin namotu, njihovo ponašanje s promjenom temperature, faznog kuta i brzine vrtnje stroja.
