This research examines the phenomenon of the interactive digital book for children. The objects of study are the app-books that won the Jabuti Prize, the most traditional prize in the Brazilian book market, in the category Digital for Children, introduced experimentally in 2015 and ended in 2018. An extensive exploratory research was carried out and a theoretical foundation was set, the main references being Hayles (2002), Antonio (2011), Teixeira (2015), Corrêa (2016), Kirchof (2009; 2013; 2016), and Ribeiro (2017).
