This dissertation presents the analysis and implementation of a five level T-type single-phase CC-CA bidirectional converter, with the main goal of connecting it to the electric grid. Static and dynamic analyses are demonstrated, as well as, the stresses on each component of the structure. A design methodology is indicated, seeking the practical implementation of the topology, with a rated power of 2500 VA and 220 . All expressions developed through the mathematical analysis of the converter are validated by numerical simulations, proving the veracity of the presented equations.
