La política como estado de guerra una crítica desde la ética

This article shows the political position of Emanuel Lévinas after his critic to the Western thought. For our author, politics means ontology and, therefore, violence and oppression. Ontology and politics are two faces of the same coin. The first one is the theoretical position which has ignored the presence of the Other, which for the Lévinas is fundamentally the poor, exiled, margined; and the second is the feasibility of the war state which suppresses with violence, the human being dignity. In order to understand the political thought of Lévinas, it is necessary to understand his critic to the Western Philosophy.El presente artículo presenta la posición política de Emanuel Lévinas a partir de su crítica al pensamiento occidental. Para nuestro autor, la política es ontología y, por lo tanto, violencia y opresión. Ontología y política son las dos caras de la misma moneda. La primera es la posición teórica que ha desconocido la presencia del Otro, que para Lévinas es fundamentalmente el pobre, el desterrado, el marginado; y la segunda es la facticidad del estado de guerra que suprime con la violencia, la dignidad del ser humano.
