International audienceThis paper explores the relationship between characteristics, beliefs, backgrounds and perceptions of students and instructors with students’ grade earned in algebra courses at two-year post-secondary institutions in the U.S. using multiple linear regression. We present the results of an analysis of data collected during the Fall 2017 semester. From this analysis we seek to highlight a few predictor variables with significant influence on the outcome variable of student grade in the course and provide interpretations of these results
