Left atrial appendage (LAA) is a cardiac structure involved in onset of ischemic cerebral events. In the last years, a growing interest has developed towards LAA analyses both for percutaneous LAA occlusion (LAAC) than for other conditions. Cardiac computed tomography (CCT) has emerged as an innovative methodic to analyze LAA, especially for LAAC planning. Different authors reported as, after LAAC, CCT can be used to identify an incomplete LAA occlusion1,2.
