MB, Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Supervisor: (1) Rubayat Indradi* (2) Nimim Putri Zahara** Background: PT. MB is a company engaged in the production of cosmetics and herbs. Research on NIHL (Noise Induced Hearing Loss) incidents in the company's production department found 17,6% of workers experiencing NIHL. Research in the production department of other companies also found 48,57% of workers experiencing hearing loss due to noises. WHO said occupational noise exposure has contributed 22% to health problems in the workplace. Objective: This research aims to know the the correlation between the duration of exposure to machine noise and the degree of machine noise-induced hearing loss in production department workers of PT. MB. Methods: This research was using a cross-sectional approach. The sample of this research, all of the workers in the production department of PT. MB who fulfill the inclusion criteria, was found to be 32 people. The data analyzed with Contingency Coefficient test. Result: The data from 32 respondents who fulfill the inclusion criteria showed that 65,5% of the workers had worked more than 49 months, 21,9% of workers had hearing loss in the ear. Contingency Coefficient test showed significance value (p) >0.05. Conclusion: There was no significant correlation between the duration of exposure to machine noise and the degree of machine noise-induced hearing loss in production department workers of PT. MB
