Rh(III)-Catalyzed C-H Cyclization of Arylnitrones with Diazo Compounds: Access to N-Hydroxyindolines

We have developed the Cp∗Rh(III)-catalyzed cyclization reaction of arylnitrones with diazo compounds to obtain N-hydroxyindoline products under mild conditions.
