Chronic diseases have been commonly diagnosed with the increasing population of elderly people. Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of death in men and women over 65 years of age. High morbidity and mortality due to cardiovascular disease in elderly patients requires effective prevention and treatment in patients. The incidence of cardiovascular diseases is in direct proportion to age; therefore, hypertension, coronary artery disease, carotid artery disease, stroke, heart failure, arrhythmia and valvular diseases can be identified as common cardiovascular diseases in the elderly population
