123 cases of peripheral arterial injuries are reported, 14 due to gunshot wounds, 7 to knife wounds and 2 to blunt impact. 17 patients were subjected to emergency treatment, 6 were treated at a later stage. One of these 6 had to be subjected to amputation. Accordingly, the success rate amounted to 95.7%
