Studies on utilization of citrus viroids to induce dwarfed citrus trees

Bodur turunçgil elde etmek amacıyla günümüzde pek çok yöntem uygulanmaktadır. Son yıllarda turunçgil viroidlerinin aşı ile taşınabilir bodurluk etmeni olarak kullanımı oldukça yaygındır. Bu çalışmada bodur turunçgil elde etmek amacıyla turunçgil viroidlerinin kullanılabilirliği, turunç anacına aşılı mandarin, altıntop ve limon ağaçlarında araştırılmıştır. Turunçgii exocortis viroidi (CEVd), CVd-Ib, CVd-II Grup, CVd-lIla ve CVd-IV viroidleri saf ve karışım olarak bu ağaçlarda sPAGE yöntemiyle belirlenmiştir. Meyer limonundan elde edilen viroid karışımı, CVd-IHa+CVd-IV, aşı ile taşınabilir bodurluk etmeni olarak kullanılabilirliği uygun görülmektedir.Today there are several methods used to induce dwarfed citrus trees. In recent years the use of citrus viroids as a graft-transmissible dwarfing agent is very widespread, in this study the ability of using citrus viroids to induce dwarfed citrus was studied on tangerine, grapefruit and lemon trees grafted on sour orange. Citrus exocortis viroids (CEVd), CVd-Ib, CVd-II Group, CVd-IIIa and CVd-IV pure or as complex were determined in these trees by sPAGE. The viroid complex obtained from Meyer lemon, including CVd-IIIa and CVd-I V was seen to be used as graft transmissible agen
